Venetian Blinds

Venetian blinds were probably invented in Persia, but the Venetians, who were great travellers and traders, brought them home to Venice and then to Paris, getting credit for their invention. Venetian or essentially ‘slatted’ blinds were introduced to Britain in around 1770, becoming the height of fashion in Georgian high society. Today Annabels brings such luxury into the homes of Lincolnshire.
